No problems with mine either. I haven't had to take my Taco back to dealer once for any issues.

As funny as it and as many clutches we replace in the Ford Focus's I still hear more hatred for a transmission on here than I think I do our ford customers. Although ford doesn't deny the issue and we simply run a few tests and then swap if not within parameters. The way people are complaining about their transmissions here you would think Toyota put a CVT in this thing

I am new on here, if you look at my previous posts, I asked about the 16 Tacoma because I read some bad reviews. I have a 2013 Ford Focus. I have experienced the tranny issues with the ford however only once. They did a software upgrade LOL and all has been fine. Anyway I drove a 2016 pimp Tacoma july 4 weekend and it had a bad thump when you took off, almost like the transmission was going to drop out. Do these Tacoma's have the dual clutch transmission ? I haven't reasearched them that deep.

Unfortunate thing is we don't have new tech like a dual clutch transmission. We have a traditional, tried and true automatic transmission. Toyota the company that has sold tens of millions of automatic transmissions and introduced the world to things like torque managed shifts chose to cut corners on this one.

    Me four.

But then, I'm not a fucktard that doesn't understand that 5th and 6th are overdrive gears. I don't let the engine turn 1000 RPM in 6th gear at 50mph.

I don't understand why this forum turns on people that have legitimate complaints about their transmissions?

I put my truck in D and drive....Its an auto tranny, I let it do its thing even if its turning 1000 rpm at 50mph. Whats the problem with that? If everybody drove around in 4th gear like you we'd be getting 10 mpg.

Yes because there weren't any transmissions that came from the factory underfilled by multiple quarts of fluid. Everyone who's having an issue must definitely be an idiot. There's no way all the people posting service records documenting issues are real, they're all photoshopped.

    What a fucking joke.
