    If pokevision isn't working than likely the servers are down for Pokemon go since they basically run on the same. At least for the "Pokemon Trainers Club". If you log in via google it may still be up but 3rd party resources won't work until PTC is back up

    If they can fix the foot step notification thing we wouldn't need pokevision etc so much...

    I just pulled up pokeradar (never seen that before) and it showed an 2 Aerodactyls, a Dragonite, and a Blastoise all in my neighborhood. I was rushing to my car when I realized that's not how that site works :bananadead:. But, if it's true those were all caught today at various times. I don't believe it...

    Just had a Pokemon go app update. They removed the nearby footsteps altogether :notsure:...

    So a couple things I figured out today while I was out that I forgot to mention earlier...

    First, the fisherman badge I questioned before is actually in regards to Magikarp caught next to water. All the ones I got today added to my badge. It also changed to "big" after I hit 5...

    The other thing I noticed is that the Pokemon is more likely to flee if you are trying to catch on the go. I had a lot where they would pop up and I'd engage them but still be rolling on my bike. I'd eventually stop because it was really hard to flick and ride but if I rolled too far away (where that Pokemon likely wouldn't show on my map anymore) they would usually flee if they were strong enough to pop out. I started stopping right when they popped up and didn't have any more flee after that. I've had this happen a lot while driving too so I think I'm ready to confirm this suspicion.

    So I left my mini vacation with 1 Lapras(+1.1k) Magmar (+950) a high Golem and Arbok. I never went out of my way to catch anything. I would just noticed the vibration on my phone and there they were.

    I'm heading to San Jose on Tuesday so hopefully I get more chances. I still haven't don't my mass evolve yet.

    Highest level I've seen is a 33. I'm only level 15. That person owned all the top spots in about 5 gyms around Hawthorne. He had all Dragonites and Exeggutors.
