Lol. My fiancé got me playing. Just hit level 20 today but don't have as many as you guys do. My highest one is a slowbro cp around 1300. Still learning a lot reading through here.

Edit. How good are slowbros to battle with?

 

Slow bros are better for defense but can def be used to attack. We gotta hit up riverfront soon

Nice. We went to honeymoon island today and hit the causeway. Crazy packed full of people. Caught a lot of stuff but nothing great. I'm at about 260 magicarp candies. Can't wait to evolve him lol. Let me know about riverfront, not sure exactly where that is lol. We've been meaning to hit up riverwalk but never actually get out there.

Haha. Sweet. Let me know when man. You'll have to show us the ropes. We've just been slowly leveling and pretty much catching everything that shows up for either stardust or the candies. Just learned a couple days ago to save up candies and mass evolve everything at once with a lucky egg lol. But as you saw, we don't have any real special pokemon.

I haven't played for real in 2 days. I caught some pidgeys and rats and hit a few stops yesterday at a mall but didn't really play. I'm still at the beginning of 19. I spent all day cleaning my wife's fish tank, today. Fuck that

I hope we will go bike riding soon to hit the mall... But probably not

My current team, sadly they swapped the nest off dratinis, and they are eevees now. At least it's something I can still use infact snagged a 555 today.
Also a small park by my house swapped from lickitungs to exeggcute so 5 more catches and I'll be ready for an evolve there.

Woo-hoo I'm headed out on the bike. I'm going to ride up and down the 40 pokestop stretch of down town to get 50xp and a ton of goods hopefully. Also, there is a gastly near I heard about at a local park

Started at the bottom of 19. Caught some things. Caught the 11pm fountain show. Ended at the bottom of 20! Hooray, level 20 finally

Those 50xp stops add up when you ride a bike and hit 4 or 5 of them per minute. And after catching 90 pokémon, I now have 200+ pokeballs. I usually use pokeballs anyway

 

According to Google, the average walking speed is 5.0km/h. I had three 5k eggs in incubators, each with some walking distance logged on them already. So for exactly 2 hours this morning, I decided to go for a walk/jog/run. At the end, only 1 of the 5k eggs hatched. The one that was already past halfway when I started.

I realize it's a known issue after reading this morning, I just really wish movement was tracked more accurately..
