Wait til 25 at least that way you can get a close to or more than 2k CP gyarados

 

What's considered a solid CP? I've got one at 150 that I got lucky with and has 100% IVs and I was thinking that would be used for the evolution. Have a long way to go though.

Well I'll see what else comes along before I have enough. Right now I'm under 100 candies and no solid spawn point nearby. Probably heading out of town to lounge at a lake next weekend so maybe some more magikarp and dratinis

I am going to wait until I get 190+ I wish I would have saved my first one for that as well. My 1700 one isn't so great

I'm going to evolve my 148 (unless I get a higher one before my mass evolve later this week) so I can have a Gyarados. I've already got over 700 candies so I'll be ready for a 2nd one real soon so I'll evolve a stronger one too when I get up a few levels. I'm close to level 22 now (about 8k away) and hopefully after the mass evolve I'll be at 23. Still loading up on pidgeys...
