I've already traded for all the regionals. I've been focusing on trying to catch shinies during this event. You'll have your first community day on Saturday. Shiny Chickorita's will be everywhere

 

Pretty lame Community day. Chikorita was a bad choice but I still ended up with 8 of them. Also did 2 Mewtwo raids while we were out. I’m now 5 for 5 on Mewtwos. The best part of my day was finally making a trade for this guy(I guess technically “gal”). I missed the Dratini Community day so I’ve been wanting this one for a while. Decent IV so I burned 200k stardust maxing it out

 

Just started playing again about a month ago. A lot has changed. Still haven’t done a raid. Or understand them. And I’m still terrible at battles. My office is in a prime location though. Got 3 poke stops I can hit from my desk. Here’s my trainer code thing though

 

We’ve got a good raid group in my area. Find a Facebook group for your area and get in their chat. I guarantee there is one. Everyone seems to have it lol. Someone will post a raid and then everyone coordinates when you can do it. They are easy if you have enough people. Just a matter if you can catch it or not. Probably 30-50% catch rate...

We won’t be able to trade since we are so far away but if you open my gifts while you have egg slots you can get an Alolan egg from me and then once you hatch it trade that ‘mon with someone in Cali and you’ll get “distance” for the mileage between us towards that trade badge.

A little far from me. Raleigh has a huge PoGo facebook community and it's broken down into several smaller more localized raid groups. The best way to get connected is to just drive around areas that are dense with gyms and look for a crowd raiding and then ask them to get you in their raid chats.

 

I just found two groups on FB. One where I live and one where I work in Salisbury. Looks like they just had a group out for community day at one of the parks.
