What battery extenders are you guys using? I want one in general for my iphone 6, but I really can't play this game without my phone dieing within a 1/2 or so.

Was given that for xmas and didn't really have a use for it. Then pogo came into my life...

It has enough juice to charge my phone (iPhone 6 Plus) from dead to full twice per full charge. It also holds the charge really well if I don't use it often. I can fully charge it and leave it be for a week and it will still have almost full power when I need it. The only knock I'll give it is that it takes like 5+hours to fully charge itself. I usually just charge it overnight though so I don't have to worry about it...

 

Haven't been active as much but still collect my gym money, going on 6-7 weeks with 3 mons staying up

This kills me, gyms in So Cal turn overwithin hours. The one at my work changes a few times per hour. I'm of your gold coins!

 

Thanks, there are a lot that turn over rather quickly but luckily there are a few that I'm on that are lvl 10 and haven't been touched

 

Well after 147km walked with Squirtle as my buddy I finally have enough candy to get a Blastoise. Now I just have to wait for a stronger Squirt to evolve...

Pikachu is my buddy now and I only need 6 candy to evolve. Didn't realize Pika was 1 candy per KM. Should be a quick one then I'm on to Charmander where I need 56 candies Should only take me the rest of the year to walk that off

 

This game is dwindling, need a good update soon

 

They've started migrating nest about every 2 weeks (most recent last night) but I've lost motivation to go to those areas anymore. I just turn it on when I walk my dog to hatch eggs and log KMs to collect candy and then claim my gym coin. I don't know what they could add to bring interest back up

 

Both me and my wife are the same where we really aren't actively playing much. I think the only thing that would pull is back in is when gen 2 comes out.

 

This. This. Right. Here. would make a lot of people happy again. This aimless wandering sucks. I've given up on evolving high CP 'mons that aren't gym bosses, simply because my area has quick turnover and you need to be mid 2,000's to even consider running one for more than an hour. So yesterday I evolved a Machamp (1544, Bullet Punch, Submission) a Poliwrath (1308, Bubble, Submission) & a Vileplume (1370, Acid, Petal Blizzard) just so I could get them in my dex & get the 1st time bonus. I was close on candy for all of them so I just swapped buddies to get where I needed, even if these 3 were top tier they wouldn't be good enough for most gyms around here.

 

Yeah now that the game has been out a while I've noticed the same that even the lower CP mons at the gym are 2,000 CP+. I've also noticed a number of bots have been taking over the gyms lately, can literally watch the gym get taken down with nobody but myself around. I guess on the plus side there are a few of them doing this on different teams so if I time it right with a bot from my team taking all the gyms I'm able to sneak myself into the second slot on most of them without even battling. I only get away with that because I live in a small town and there hasn't been too much gym activity other than the bots taking them back and forth lol.

 

Or allow 3rd party apps like fastmap to work. No reason it can't at this point...

 

TRAINER VS TRAINER battles would be cool

 

Winner gets to take the 'mon too. Like pink slips for car racing...

They should implement something within the gym that when you leave a 'mon there and then someone comes to take said gym it would notify you that you are under attack and could assume control of your 'mon to fight back instead of just getting booted because the sim never dodges

 

I highly agree with you on this. At this point they're hurting themselves more than they know by not allowing 3rd party apps.

Some of my strongest. The ones with stars are my gym battle pokemond. Haven't been able to hold a gym for a day

 

Find some high level gyms that can be leveled up. 7 and up, use a lower cp pokemon against higher cp pokemon to get more prestige points. I use tangela and sycther the most. Tangela destroys vaporeons and sycther for exeggutors
