Ashtray?

Dumb question, but does the 09 taco come with an ashtray?

 

Yeah I'm pretty sure, why wouldn't it?

 

Actually, mine doesn't have one. I know that they sell a cup/ashtray that you can put in one of the cup holders, but the power outlets/lighter aren't attached to an ashtray.

...that is why I asked. Is it missing (so I can go claim it from the dealer) or does the 09 trucks do not have one?

 

you shouldnt smoke in your tacoma.

 

When I picked up my 08 it didn't have one and I told the salesman I'm not driving off the lot until I have some place to dump my butts, he walked over to a tundra and comes back and hands me one of those cups that fit in the small cupholder slot

Many of the vehicles today have the ashtray delete. I guess they would rather you litter.

None of the 05-09 Tacomas have an actual ashtray.

instead of dropping 25 bucks on an accessory ashtray, why not go buy a pack of excel gum that comes in that little tube, it fits exactly the same way as that ashtray would in taht little cup holder

I'm not a regular smoker, but it irritates me to no end that I can no longer go to a BAR and enjoy a cigar on the PATIO... In fact, for a time in Alberta, it was still legal to smoke in a bar, but not on an outdoor patio. This meant that if you wanted to smoke, you had to go INSIDE to do it.

 

yeah I hate how new cars don't seem to have ashtrays. I bought the cup one and store it in the cubby holes in the bed. If ya leave it inside it stinks up the interior. But just think with all the stupid tiny cup holders we have, you can put the ashtray anywhere.
