Yeah I'm leaning towards doing a actual prerunner build so like full long travel suspension front and rear but that will be awhile haha total cost is looking about 5-6k. I'm about to buy a Suzuki DRZ-400SM for $3.5k to daily around town so funds are tight right now.

How often do you go camping in yours? I was thinking about doing a roadtrip to Colorado and just sleeping out of the camper. I want to try to climb up some mountains in the truck.

I camp in mine at least once or twice a month whether it is during travel, or if im just sleeping back there while hunting out at my place. Its absolutely doable! I have a thermarest sleeping pad in the back of mine, and i sleep like a baby. I built a sleeping platform in mine, so headroom lacks a bit to be desired, but other than that, the setup works like a charm

Have you found a way to lock the camper from the inside? That's the only worrying me is safety.

Unfortunately, i havent, but i dont think it would be much less secure than if you were in a roof top tent..

If you have a locking tailgate handle, you can lock that and then maybe rig something up with some wire on the inside latch for the window to keep it from being able to open.. ive never really looked into it much though

I like that, very good idea and it looks like it would work for yours since you have the same style latch.. i have the style that is one handle on each side, so idk if it would work for me.. great idea nonetheless though!

So one of my good friends was looking for a good tire and wheel combo to buy for his 2014 GMC Sierra and after he seen my tires he made his decision. He bought the Coopers and Method NVs 17x8

Spraying a bright white or brilliant silver first, with your color on top will help make it brighter.

Not sure if anyone on here is into motorcycle but I'll also be doing a motorcycle build on my page.
So today was a very exciting day; I always wanted to do a cafe racer build but it was so hard to find a clean vintage motorcycle in my area. Then after searching for almost a year I found a 1970 Honda CL175. Now some backstory on the bike; It was owned by a older gentlemen and had passed away due to old age. The brother of the owner had inherited his belongings. He didn't ride or had no knowledge of motorcycles in general. So I was able to talk him down on pricing because it didn't start up. I took a chance on this bike but after getting the bike home and taking a better look, turns out that the motor was relatively newly built. The oil was clean, spark plugs looked brand spanking new, and when I was kick starting it I was able to tell that it had a high compression so that was a major plus. I'm pretty sure its not starting because of the carburetors are dirty. I'll take them apart tomorrow and let you guys know. On the outside it needs some tlc but thats the whole point of the project lol. My main goal is to make it into a cafe racer. Also there are some pictures of me starting to teardown the bike to clean it. You can follow me on my instagram @pinal145 where I post stories of me work on it.
A café racer (/ˈkæf reɪsər/ KAF ray-sər, or more commonly /ˈkæfeɪˌreɪsər/ KAF-ay ray-sər) is a lightweight, lightly powered motorcycle optimized for speed and handling rather than comfort – and for quick rides over short distances.

So about 2 days ago I installed a TRD Pro grill that I bought in a group buy that was by CaliRaisedLED. The install was straight forward, just had to take your time with getting the clips off the trim. I also redid the bezel black with plasti dip; I'm going to buy the color matched bezel soon.
