    There is a funny combination of both metric and imperial .

    I use feet and inches all day for work .

    Yeah. Some people call them "Engineers inches". But, we'er not standardized. Somelocals use Metric, and some private companies use 12ths'. I was on a job where the plans were in 10th, the half the job was laid out in metric, and the other in 12ths.....

    I've used 1/8 + 1/16 , 1/10s , and 1/12ths . They are all on a rafter square .
