They aren't legal to carry. There is a handgun fobia here.

how easy is it to buy a handgun in Canada? is there a waiting period, handling test, etc.

 

Just a criminal background check to get a license, then buy the gun and i think the waiting period is 3 days.

Edit: Also a super basic gun safety course, make sure you know what a trigger is ect.... we wouldn't wanna give guns to morons.

 

and the barrel has to be shorter than 4.1 inches

 

really? how long has that been a law? americans get mad whenever you try to limit how their gun will look and function.

i like guy at the top...not smiling without a gun....with gun he has a big smile......that process seems similar to the US process.

 

ya i didnt think it could be to har because i know a lot of people who have guns but they're for hunting only.
