Drug addiction is a choice.

For the record, I smoked cigarettes for 7 years and quit successfully, which they say is comparable to a drug addiction.

 

I disagree to a point , but it doesn't matter , drug addiction should be treated as any other affliction .

 

I meant they did not run on a platform of legalizing pot .

The Greens would be considered the enviornmentalist party .

 

I my self have quite smoking cigarettes after 10 years and used to be a heavy pot head and believe that it is more of a choice. However general agreement is that it works better treated as a mental disease and not a addiction. Plus a lot of people that are on heavy drugs usually have a mental disease.

 

I would be more comfortable with calling it a mental addiction rather than mental disease.

Where is the Ross Perot of Canada? Thats what they need. NDP and Conservatives =democrats and republicans, except gay marriage is allowed and abortions aren't a big deal.

Also what I have come to learn is the "Liberal" provincial party is the same as the federal conservative party which is similar to republicans.

There's many reason why the Green Party was elected in this riding by people of many different beliefs .

Some for their enviornmental stance , some as a protest vote against the current MLA here , some as a protest against the other party's conduct .

why exactly are coalitions frowned upon? is it because you voted for your parties ideals and not the ones who the coalitions were formed with?
