    Most Canadians forget that Canada has two official national pastimes: Hockey and Lacrosse. Most that know history would argue that Lacrosse is the real pastime since it was a national pastime before hockey, since 1859. Modern ice hockey didn't originate until about 1877. In 1994 Canada made law stating Hockey as the national winter sport and lacrosse as the national summer sport.

    Just got back from driving around our town with a big Canadian flag strapped to my headache rack , lots of people honking and waving , everybody has a BIG grin .

    Whistler is always busy. Next year it will be back to normal busy not insane Olympics busy.
