    I was the last one left after the nuclear holocaust, eh. The whole world had been destroyed, like U.S. blew up Russia and Russia blew up U.S. Fortunately, I had been offworld at the time. There wasn't much to do. All the bowling alleys had been wrecked. So's I spent most of my time looking for beer.

    everyone is super nice from canada! i have 2 questions

    how are your summers? does it get nice and warm there? cuz i always picture it balls cold

    and can you really make an igloo? does it snow enough there? and can a person of moderate skills and intelligence such as myself with no previous snow experience build one?

    i really wanna get up there one of these days

    in saskatchewan it rarely gets hotter than 87F. yes you can make an igloo. in the winter there is always enough snow. no you wont be able to make one.

    Igloos are surprisingly hard to build. I tried as a kid once....it sorta turned out like the Leaning Tower of Pisa! hah

    You cant build an igloo with any old snow. Its gotta be nice and firm/packed. Sask would have the perfect snow! The wind blown stuff always gets nice and hard!

    For temp here in NW Ontario we will see anywhere from 20 - 30C (68 - 86F) in the summer. Southern ON. sees alot warmer temp, usually 30's (high 80's) and ALOT of humidity! Mostly cause all the damn smog.

    For winter, it is -14C (6F) out right now. Last weekend it dipped to -35C (-31F) plus wind which easily pushed it into the -40's. It will usually dip into the -40's for a few days multiple times thru the winter.

    It's just something you learn to dress for!

    Agreed , I understand the effect , but we deal with it on a far less severe scale .
