hahaha I always enjoy seeing americans bad mouthing everyone still thinking its 1995 when their dollar had value. The Canadian dollar has been around par or higher than the American for the past 5-10 years.
So if Loonie=Disney Dollars and Loonie=Greenback, then Greenback=Disney Dollars.

As far as weather goes, you do realize the border is an invisible line invented by man. The weather in Maine/New Brunswick, Vermont/South Quebec, Michigan/South Ontario, Washington/South British Columbia, etc is going to be roughly the same.
The summer & winter in Montana is pretty close to the same summer & winter in southern Alberta.

PS not many people here like Nickelback, seems like they make their living off other countries with no musical taste.

Ok, so is the great white north still considered a British territory?

What is the current affiliation between Canada and Great Britain, if any?

queen is on the back or our loonie and the rest of our coins. we are part of the commonwealth. they have no power over us. the royals come over every few years and waste some money but thats it.

Prolly been asked already, but I don't want to sift through 50 pages:

Why is ham called Canadian Bacon? I personally feel this is an insult to Bacon.

We have "canadian Bacon" here that is nothing more than a small round piece of ham...never understood.

Canadian bacon is basically ham that is cured the same way they cure normal bacon. Thats why its "bacon"
Its kinda like pickles and pickled eggs. A pickle is a food and pickle is also a way of preparing something.

Its also called back bacon because it comes from the loin on the pigs back.

I'm not a huge fan , but I kinda follow the highlights . I like Seattle because they are closest to where I live but realize they are not a great team .

there is the bc lions, calgary stampeders, edmonton eskimos, saskatchewan roughriders, winnipeg blue bombers, toronto argonauts, hamilton tiger-cats, montreal allouttes. ricky williams played in the cfl for a year and sucked. cameron wake played for bc for 2 or 3 years. there is probably a few guys you've heard of.
