    Oh wow! I hope you stay there long too. Loving a job makes a difference. I LOVE what I do. Fire and EMS BOTH are in my heart and blood and wouldn't give it up for anything. Because it doesn't pay worth a crap, I teach new EMT's as a second job to make ends meet.

    You're right. There has been some weird weather in the south. I'm a Damn Yankee - Originally from NJ but lived in IL for quite a few years. I've been in GA for 4 years. IDK about you, but we had a White Christmas - which I was told in these parts - it was a first. My county that I serve and live in was affected by the tornadoes with quite a bit of damage.

    we havent had a tornado in a few years in my area of the province but we've had a few plow winds and those can be just as bad.

    i have no idea. but they are when the clouds form a nozzle and just shoot 100kmh or more winds in one direction and cause lots of damage.

    I'm a DAMN Yankee. Not going back. :D I'm a little north of Columbus.
    That was a question I asked awhile back and never got an answer...... In the US - northerners are called yankees, but Canadians call ALL Americans Yankees. :confused:
