    Wow!! I'm assuming that would be land with accessable utilities? What would a lot go for in more remote areas? Are you allowed to buy this kind of land?

    About 10 years ago, my folks were able to purchase 2 acres out in the desert for $500 during an auction put on by the county. These auctions still occur rather frequently too, and 1 acre lots can go for just a couple thousand dollars.

    Do you guys have any opportunities like this???
