    Well, I was shore fishing and after I drug up all the plants in the water, I proceeded to snag my hook on every submerged god knows what. Knowing this part of the state, old cars and dead bodies. So I went through like 5 hooks and there is probably a toxic level of lead out there too

    This is like 70 miles up river from the ocean btw, it does have a tide though which is fun

    I did for hook number 6 to keep it above whatever was eating
    My hooks. Then the wind picked up to like 30mph so when I casted it just blew back to shore

    In the Delta, it's all about mercury and selenium, plus wastewater treament plant discharge from Sacramento regional, and of course pesticide runoff from the entire Sacramento Valley, mainly rice fields.

    I don't know shit about fishing, frankly, but try striped bass fishing. They're invasive and fuck up all the native fish, and the DFG want everybody to catch as many as possible.
