    So, I lived in Alaska for 4 years and in that time I drove through Canada a few times. Love the scenery. Love the people. REALLY love the women. (But, I like most country's women). And, the beer ain't too shabby.

    I live in Denver and have to be back there mid-June for an Appointment. Have about a week to kill and would like to head up to to Canada to camp, explore, visit...just be somewhere different.

    So, my question is where do you recommend I go?

    I will visit anywhere- small town, larger town/city

    Want to be somewhere I can camp whether it is a Provincial Park, Off the Beaten path, established campground or...?

    Would like there to be something to go visit whether it is natural, man-made, unique, etc...Or, can be a great drive with lots to see and do along the way.

    If any of you would like to meet up, I would buy you a pint...

    Would like to enter somewhere around Minnesota or North Dakota traveling generally westward and then south so I can head back to Denver in time.

    Have been to Moose Jaw, Regina ( I know, it is pronounced Ray-gyna :)) and other dots of towns heading up to Alaska.

    So, with all that in mind, what would be a good 7 day travel/camp/visit plan?

    I am camping in the Taco. Have a Softtopper along with a SUV Tent Canopy to go over it so I can stretch out. Traveling pretty light- mattress, sleeping bag, clothes, grill, and that is about it.

    Open to ideas. Look forward to suggestions.

    my gas bill is aboot $65 a month from Nov to Feb, and around $50 when I use no gas at all. my furnace is my only gas appliance.

    New Brunswick, Enbridge gas, 100-150 a month and I keep it at 19 celcius. The coldest it got outside this year was roughly -20.

    Only for big bucks houses , not much soil here so they are all pretty much vertical loops and the drilling is expensive
