Sunshine and Lake Louise are now open and definitely will have more runs and chairs open by the time you are here. Are you here in November or December? We are excpecting 5 cm of snow this Thursday in Calgary so Banff should get even more.

Next time you visit and if you want to fit in, just utter the following phrase when something unexpected happens:

    “Well oil beef hooked”

    They’ll think you’re from Nfld.

Great photo! Just looked at where you took this photo, really in the middle of nowhere in the Yukon.
Crazy how big our country is, if you were driving south you would be half way down Mexico!

I received half of my order of 10 days ago from CorrosionFree, the other half hopefully arrives here tomorrow, probably delayed in Detroit last week
included was a generous sample of this Nut-Z lube
what are the many uses for it? I am thinking the hood latch and the notorious squeaky doors i have in the humid spring
any other good ideas to try it out on? ... i have some crusty bed bolts & nuts to possibly soak them before I have to remove Taco bed in the spring

Penguins are fun but tough to find here. Wolverines are more of a challenge.

Hey Team Canada, what's north of Fort Mcmurray? It looks like a road all the way up to Richardson Lake. I've read about the mozzies being hell in Alaska during the summer, is it the same far north in Alberta? I'm thinking way out (summer 2022) but a drive far north as we can go then saunter back taking all the sights in.

Like every good planner, I've discussed nothing with my wife. Ha ha

The answer is Yes. Just as bad if not worse at times. Strangely, as you move towards the Saskatchewan side the Blackflies move in. Sky grows dark with ‘em. Almost need body armour to protect from blood loss.

Southern part of Hudson’s Bay is pretty cool. The brief Summer to totally spectacular.
