    Mine was all of 6 months. Plus scheduling the practical and written test. Then sending in all the paperwork to the state for the state cert

    I start paramedic school here in a month or so. any ideas or tips? Im already an EMT-B and work on an ambulance and im a medic in the guard

    Study, Study Study. Since you have a base knowledge it will help. Don't be too over confident though. My time as a basic on a 911 car helped a lot. The things you see on the ambulance now will start to make more sense. And you can pull real world cases into the classroom.

    Yea. I live in the middle of nowhere so its one paramedic and a emt as a partner. and some of the stuff is like :confused::confused::confused:

    but ive got a decent grasp on reading ECG and such.

    yea thats what ive heard. ive seen some guys just look at the monitor blankly and then turn to me and ask and all i can say is ..ummm.. its not a straight a line so i geuss were okay? ive read up on a few things and had a few ppl try to explain it to me but im sure ill learn when i start classes
