Would it be sorta whackerish to have sort of like a first responder bag in my truck to go along with my normal first aid/responder bag that I carry? My normal bag is my ski patrol backpack, there are many things I am not allowed to have in there but use on a regular basis, such as saline for wound irrigation (not allowed in the bags because they freeze, same reason we are not allowed to carry pens). The other bag I was thinking of carrying would include stuff for wound irrigation, sam splints, more PPEs, insta-cold packs, etc. I won't include anything that I am not trained to use, or feel comfortable using. I am often far from civilization.

Had my first shooting tonight. Through and through in anterior abdomen. Just missed the diagram. And then another one in his ankle.

Had fire backboard him. Dropped 2 16's, 300cc of LR, vitals blinky whowoos to trauma hospital (10 minute scene time, 6 minute transport) straight to OR

Took a FF/Medic just for shits and giggles. After I gave report the FF told me "Damn you work fast". I said "Thanks, its my Job"

Emergency medical Responder is the lowest on the EMS system. Next up is a paramedic(pcp).

Here in Canada it goes like this
    EMR- Emergency Medical Responder
    PCP- Primary Care Paramedic
    ACP- Advance Care Paramedic
    CCP- Critical Care Paramedic

There is also first responder, like FFs SAR and ski patrol would have, or is that the same thing? Or is that not considered what ever the word is I am looking for. I am sorry about all the questions.

Yes it all starts with the first Responder. But those are the 4 levels of pre hospital care.
