They are more expensive than tank one but they dont have to run to heat up the water sitting in a tank and the hot water can be endless. Also they make bigger sizes for colder climates .. europe has used them for years

It was a joke you numb nut .

Besides , region codes and requirements vary , ABS and PVC are both used in Canada , and as stated by a previous US poster , ABS is still used in parts of the US .

That's all we use here on all the new construction houses. Not going to lie, I don't know all that much but I do all the purchasing and right now we have upwards 40,000' of ABS and 25,000' of Pex as compared to the couple hundred feet of Cast Iron and Copper.

So everyone can see my beautiful butt crack :D

I am technically a property manager/maintenance for about 100 apartments, but 50% or more of my work consists of plumbing. I own 75foot Genral Speedrooter and 50foot General mini rooter. And yes I have gotten sewer/shit on my hands, face and in my hair many times...lol

I HATE gate valves, steel galvanized pipe & screw type angle stops..

Copper, ABS & quarter turn valves & angle stops on everything I do!
