do you think the low(for us canadians) liquor prices has something to do with the higher drinking age?

oh boy, where to start?. . . cash wise, probably around $400 when you add it all up (didnt even get a lawyer). then on the party nights (tuesday and thursday), for 4 weeks i had more or less an AA meeting i had to go to for 3 hrs those nights twice a week. . . . and i didn't even factor in the inconvenience of the fact they messed up one of my court dates so i had to fill out a prayer to the judge so a warrant wasn't issued for my arrest. . . . and i know it was them that screwed up, cause it happened to a guy that got the same ticket at the same time as me.

yeah, im sure around every state you have to at the least appear before a judge. . . and i wasn't talking about liquor, i had a beer. liquor would have been worse (ticket/money wise) . . . . and to clarify, my ticket was just for having the beer in my hand. not drinking it, acting wild, anything like that. just possession.

in california its a fine, and you can be charged with a misdemeanor, depending on circumstances..the law likes to keep tabs on us to see if we develop a pattern in our younger years.

yeah it would have been worse. malt beverage ticket would be worse than beer since it's a much more heavily regulated thing. . . . and since i was younger it was actually easier for me. it went off my record and all that. in NC when you get a ticket, 20 is worse than 18 odd huh?

both, and whoever is supplying the minors with alchohol gets extra attention....especially if minors are driving away from the house party.

if you were at a house party than the cop would need a warrant or an invite before they could come in.

If it's a noise complaint at a house party he can ask every one to leave and as the guests leave check id's in which then could result in tickets/arrests.
