    If anyone from San Francisco wants to chime in:

    I'm taking my family to San Francisco in August and I just bought tickets to a Giants game vs the Phillies...field level tickets right next to 1st base.

    Never been to a MLB game, but it seemed like such a quintessential American thing to do I couldn't resist. Any advice for going to the game ? Any food advice ? Any must see stuff ?

    My 5yr old daughter is going so I sprang for a bit pricier tickets in the hopes that we won't be totally surrounded by wasted idiots. We've gone to football games and regretted the cheap seats.....words she heard about female body parts and getting showered with beer spray wasn't a lot of fun.

    Any other tips for stuff to do (yes we're going to Alcatraz) are welcome ! We're staying downtown at The Palace...looks really nice.
