Ha thats a good problem too have. I still have a 3GS

Anyways, it's difficult to tell if you should upgrade or not, seeing as how it hasn't been released yet. I would keep the 4s and get the 5s or whatever the hell they decide to call it when it comes out in 2013.

Just got Safari 6.0, and it runs great, but these "fat" tabs at the top suck the big one, one of the worst things I have seen on Macs. Anyone know of a fix other than going back to the previous version? I hope someone fixes this, or atleast gives the option to go back to normal sized tabs. I might just have to get used to the Command + T short cut...

Still waiting on M-Lion to download, but I am upgrading from Lion, just back everything up and get the USB drive and install it clean from there, I did that with Lion on a 5 yr old Mac and it works great.

I haven't played with the new Safari yet, but I did the upgrade on Saturday. I upgraded from Snow Leopard so it was fairly easy and my MAC is pretty new. You mentioned the USB drive to install, I think I read that Apple discontinued the USB drive install and it is only available via download.

The new iMessage did mess up my synchronization between iphone and ipad. Once logged into iMessage it caused my phone to be unable to receive via my Apple ID. I looked up a quick fix. Log out on MAC iMessage> log out on iphone iMessage> reboot phone> log back in on iphone> all is good. Although I didnt have time to log back in on my Mac. I will try that tonight.

Any other cool features on Mountain Lion that I am missing besides iMessage?

Hey my wife's MacBook is having an issue. When the lid is open, if you lean it back to a certain point, it will fall all the way back. Is there any way to fix this or do I have to take it in?

    Thanks!

Not sure if there are exposed screws on the hinges or not. If there are not you would probably need to pop the case off. If that is the case and the MacBook is pretty new, I would take it to the Mac Store for them to look at. You wouldnt want to risk breaking one of those tabs on the casing.

I am not looking at one, but I have one at home. I will check it out tonight and see if I see anything that might be a quick fix. I would still think about taking it to the Mac Store just for grins.

Rumors sound pretty legit. I have been holding on to my iphone4 even though I am due for an upgrade. Timing will be perfect, I am excited for a new phone. Going to have a couple iphone 4's for sale as well....a 32 and a 16 both black.

It'll be a 4G LTE device so if you browse or download a lot, it should be much faster. If you're on AT&T the 4s is an HSPA+ phone so it should be faster than 3G but defintely not as fast as LTE. AT&T's LTE is super fast where it's available.

Also be aware that on Verizon, you may not be able to grandfather in your current data plan. They changed it recently. They're moving everyone to the Family plans which are much more expensive. The only way to keep your old data plan is if you buy an unsubsidized phone (full retail price).

AT&T has just announced a similar family data plan as well but you're not forced into moving to it.

LTE speed also comes at the cost of battery life. The LTE phones are super power hungry. Perhaps Apple's will be different.

I'm having some issues with my Fiance's Macbook (2007). A couple of months ago she did all the software updates and now we can't open iTunes, play any videos (youtube, netflix, ect.) and the computer seems really slow. Any advice?

this. upgraded the wife's phone, had a samsung smartphone on a 150mb plan (more than enough for her) and was forced to upgrade. total price change ~$35/month  sucks cuz her phone took a crap and we didn't have much choice without paying full price.

needless to say, i'll keep my iphone for an extra year and we'll probably switch once this new contract is up.

I was in BB yesterday and was told as an existing customer even though I don't have a data plan right now I could upgrade to the old plan with a smartphone. That only new customers had to go on the new one. :notsure: Not sure I believe this. But the new plan could actually save us a few dollars. But I can't do anything for a while and am thinking of switching providers since verizon doesn't pick up for sh*t at my work.

And I figured it was just a matter of time until others followed on this new plan.

I just looked and it's for the current unlimited users. They will be forced to change or pay full retail.

This is why I am anxious to see what the Razr has to offer also. One of the rumored upgrades with this phone is a much better battery, 3300mh I believe, which is supposed to blow the others out of the water...

Rumor control is their going to put one of those shake chargers in the phone. They filed a patent for one that will fit into their phones.
