i always seemed to notice a slight weight difference between the 16 and the 32. That was the iphone 4 though so i might just be feeling the difference from the iphone 5 without thinking about it.

Although 128GB is ALOT of memory for an iPhone.

Im getting the gold one :D Gonna sell my iPhone 4GS and my iphone 5 for it, Gonna have to pay full price though :(

I assumed it was coming with a mircoSD slot because of the link above about the 128GB SD card.

    .
The unofficial Apple blog sites all said that a 128 GB in a 5S would be available in Sept. 2013. I need that memory for some of the things that I do.

I think (hope) that the 128GB is coming soon, just don't know when & if I can wait. Hate to buy a 64GB end of Sept and find that for $100.00 more could have double memory a month later.

This is what I don't like about Apple, no good product info (and a small screen) until the last minute before it is shown to the public. :(

Anyways .... thanks for all of your info. ... :)

PS ... SanDisk has a 128GB high speed special purpose chip now ... but no port for it on a 5S ...

PPS ... If a competitor comes out with a good phone and a port for a 128GB chip ... I will give it a serious look and I am an Apple lover too.

Apple updates the iPhone once a year, it happened Tuesday. There's probably a 1% chance of a 128gb iphone coming out before this time next year.

There are plenty of Android options that have SD card slots for expanded storage if that is something you really need. And bigger screens if that is what you want as well.

I have heard that Apple is going to have trade in of your old Iphone for a new one. But what I have read is that you have to send it to an other company and they will send you a gift card. I do not want to be without a phone do you know if the apple store will have trade in on site

    Does not appear so: http://store.apple.com/us/iphone/reuse-and-recycling
They probably offer you peanuts compared to what it's worth on eBay/Craigslist though. Just get the new phone then sell the old one online.

Is there a way to keep my notifications from using Bluetooth? If I'm using iPod input I can't hear notifications? (2013 taco)

There doesn't seem to be any setting for this problem. If your phone is paired with bluetooth all the notifications get sent to the truck. Unless the stereo is playing the bluetooth you will not hear any tones except the phone call which will interrupt the audio. Even my girlfriends phone which is also paired doesn't notify her. I guess it's just a bug.

Which phone do you have? Notifications come through Bluetooth for my 5. You may have a disparity between the volume of notifications and music as well that makes the notifications inaudible. I usually only hear text messages but not emails.

Hmm, I can say that I can have "double notifications" on my android phone, so maybe it will work on your iPhone. It basically comes down to having two apps that receive the messages and can throw up the notifications. If you can't have both, then at least maybe the 3rd party app might have the ability to send notifications over bluetooth (you just want to know when you get a message right?). I believe the app was "handcent", and it is available for iphone (just checked - http://www.handcent.com/dir/pro/go?type=2). If this fails, I wonder if you used a custom sound file for your notification, if that would trigger the event over bluetooth. Interested to see how this goes; good luck.

I am using the iPhone 5. Let me explain better.

I do get notifications over bluetooth. The problem is if I am listening to FM or any other input the notifications still go to bluetooth and I do not hear them. I only hear them if I am listening to bluetooth audio. I would like to be able to listen to the radio and still get notified of a message. I am using a USB adapter in one of the 12v outlets because the built in usb plug farther complicates things, and I then have to use the phone to select outputs. The iPod mode just seems redundant if I have bluetooth audio.

This is a minor gripe, but the truck is my office. I spend 20 hours a week working out of it.
