But again that is breaking the law and you would be a criminal for making it an automatic weapon

No, You will see fewer people who are legal to own them, with them. The criminals will still get them.

It is against the law unless you have obtained the required documents to be able to purchase and own an automatic weapon

Criminals don't respect the laws already in place. Creating new laws only effects law abiding citizens

Unless I am missing something I dont think that was anyones argument. We were just stating that the criminals will always find away to have illegal guns cause they dont care

I apologize ahead of time for not reading all 7 pages.

1: "Assault weapons" is just a dramatic name the press gives to cool looking semi automatic fire-arm; they are no more deadly than my Glock.

2: An "assault weapon" ban wont do any good. In case the press forgot to mention it, there is already an "assault weapon" ban in Connecticut.

3: The data base that the liberals/press use to track crimes in America is not accurate at all. They only track the type of weapons US Law Enforcement agencies are tracing (ie, trying to match bulletsfrom a crime scene). Curiously enough, this data is highly sewed towards "assault weapons" when in reality, most crimes are committed with hand guns.

4: Also, in case the press forgot to mention this tiny little detail: The Oregon Mall shooter was only able to kill two shoppers before he was stopped by a man with a pistol that was legally carrying.

How is it that schools are deemed "weapon free zone" when they have no way of enforcing the law? Who the hell is going to stop someone from bringing a weapon into the school? The law only insures law abiding and responsible citizens cant carry in a school and instead of a shooting like in Oregon, where an untold amount of people were saved by a responsible gun owner, 20 innocent children sadly lost their lives.

5: America has amnesia. Data has already shown time and time again that a: Gun control increases gun violence (most notably in Washington DC and Chicago) and right to carry / more lenient gun control laws decrease gun crime (most notably Florida and Michigan).

They just aren't used in very many crimes. (It's not even statistically significant) Please move on to a different talking point.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
What about drugs? They are illegal but many criminals still use them.
