I actually have a mint pair of OEM headlight assemblies that came off my previous TRD Sport. No broken tabs, and the truck only had a thousand miles on the truck when they came off. Projector beam headlights w/LED DRL. Looks like that is what you have so they’d be a direct replacement. You’d have to pay shipping from Colorado to Ohio, but maybe that’s still worth your while. PM me an offer if you are interested.

After you figure out that you should have the insurance company fix your truck with new parts. Then file a demished value claim! I did it on my wife's 15 gx 460. Got 2100 for the rear bumper and a few months later I found out that the repair shop who only gave me an estimate reported to car fax. I hired a company for 300 who wrote a report and told me what to and we got another 4800 out of them!
Still never fixed the rear bumper skin!

That's about a 5k fix IMO. Body shops are extortionate.

I’m in the camp of fix it yourself, if possible. Every one of my cars came out of bodyshops were shit. If you ask for an upgrade or bringing in parts in they’d start bitching and throw surcharges on top and make you pay cash. I guess that point is fair but the other fixes were crap. It’s a fucking extortion. If OP is patience and have a friend who can pull the rad support straight, I say go with the used OEM color matched panels. Not always realistic though because you have to hunt it down all over and hope it doesn’t show up all bent and fucked up.

Based on how hard you’re pushing to do the repairs yourself, I’m assuming the other driver wasn’t found 100% at fault. If the other driver pulled out in front of you as your post stated, you would need a dash cam or eyewitnesses to validate. If you didn’t use your turn signal, were speeding, had a reasonable chance to avoid the accident, etc., they will probably find both parties at fault. It may be 80% them and 20% you, but still your insurance would then need to pay and your rates would go up.
Most people involved in accidents that were 100% not their fault let a reputable body shop handle the work and than file a diminished value claim to collect the lost value of their vehicle after an accident.

I get both atguments, but if he wants to DIY, his truck, his prerogative. It’d be different if he was asking for advice, instead of just parts. Never understood why people insist on imposing themselves on people’s posts with unwanted, unsolicited advice on these forums so much.

Well if no one did than it would be a pretty lousy forum.

Don't forget to file a diminished value claim.

Yeah main reason was to maximize money back into pocket. Im 0% at fault, and have multiple witnesses and video from a building. Secondary reasoning is I've worked in the auto industry for years and can do similar work myself that I would get from a body shop. Thirdly, I have a booth I can use to do all my own paint work if I need to. Lastly I have the time to do it myself and make sure its done correctly.

Will be laser checked next week to make sure structure is still square. Figured I could save some money doing the work myself, save some money not buying brand new parts from Toyota, when the trucks are only a few years old and there's not going to be anything wrong with a used set of parts from Toyota trucks. And figured I would potentially be able to further save money if I could find parts that were already my body color. Either way I'll get it done, and either way it will cost me less than just dropping it off in the body shop. I have the skill set, I have the time, why not make money?
