Story goes a little like this.......

 

Well, lets not even mention the quality of the food, which isn't that good. 5guys is better. WAY better. So is Culvers. And it won't be long before both of them have more resturaunts than whattacrappyburger. They probably already do.
But, heres what happened, I had just gotten my wife out of the hospital, she had to have an operation due to her cancer. She was feeling like crap, and we had 100 miles to go, and I had been waiting for hours to get her out, and had not eaten since morning. I was feeling like garbage because I am diabetic, and I NEEDED to eat something. So I stopped at whataburger so my wife could use the bathroom, and I ordered something to eat. Now I even mentioned to them I would be in and out to check on my wife who was in the car, and why. Well, I watched the guy put together my order, I saw him sit it on the counter in the back, I watched him walk away, and I stood there not able to get anyones attention. And I waited while they took orders from multiple customers. And I waited. And Im not sure why a large party that was behind me got their orders taken and food served up before mine was prepared. Finally I just left. I didn't even get a refund. I just laid my number on the counter and walked out. I wound up with a 10.00$ cup of tea. So, when I called this Phoenix based companys main office to complain 5 minutes later as I was driving down the road, you think I got an apology for the shitty service? You think I got an apology for the money I left behind?

What I got was some rude little asshole who really didn't give a shit.

Now that is F'd Up. Sad to say but you were a victim of a dick of an employee. I would not have been back either.

I wonder what its like to live in a world where you think this is ok? Kind of beyond my comprehension. I sometimes have to back out and repark if I don't think I'm centered well enough. Maybe I'm the crazy one.

 

I was thinking the same thing. You can tell that the asshole parked like this knowing full well he was doing wrong. I would have paid to have someone park on either side lol

Sounds like you had a not so great experience at whataburger. Can't say I'd have been pleased. I find if I keep my expectations low, I'm disappointed less.

Of major importance to me, most whities score well on restaurant inspections.

 

I've never been to a Whataburger, none around here. Sounds like the sort of experience I've had at Krystal the two times I've tried them in the twenty years I've been here. Haven't bothered to ever go back.

I did finally get around to trying FiveGuys a couple weeks ago. $9.72 for a small burger and small fries and no drink? It was decent enough but I don't anticipate going back. There's a really good Indian lunch buffet nearby for $8 all-in, or a good Chinese place with a bunch of $8 soup+meal lunch options as well. Panera and JasonsDeli both also have plenty of great quick options for less.
