Guess Thorpe was way ahead of his time, maybe drew up the first hashtag.

What good is an alley if you can't park to load and unload?

I park to unload. The owner of this truck was around the corner picking up a sandwich...

So he's loading a sandwich. I used to park in truck zones for quick trips into stores in Seattle. The state forced me to buy a truck license and pay gross weight fees and it was legal for it to park in truck zones. Thanks to the interwebs I don't have to do that anymore. Now you have to pay to park in truck zones in Seattle. My Tacoma says "TRUCK" on the registration not "COMM" so apparently the state has taken away some of my rights and still charges me a gross weight fee.
Another time I was going east of the mountains for a day. There was a sign at a rest area "All passenger vehicles must exit for traffic survey."
I didn't want to waste time with their bs, the dot was probably just looked to be validated.
I thought about my constitutional rights against unreasonable searches. The I realized my truck wasn't a passenger vehicle and I didn't have to stop (it said "COMM" on the registration not "PASS"). The state patrol guy lurking by the exit didn't chase me or anyone else.

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
Ya... as a very tired and reeking of diesel after three showers from a busted fuel line truck driver, you can fit that damn pickup anywhere. Stay out of the truck zones.

I live in Philly and parked my Tacoma at 750pm in a "30 minute loading zone from 8am-8pm". Meaning after 8pm, I'm OK to park there for as long as I want, until 8am the next morning. I forgot my thermos so I walked the half block back to my truck and found a meter maid writing me a ticket. I asked whats up and he says my tag says truck and that I was in a PASSENGER vehicle loading zone. Now, mind you, out of the 3 available parking spots in this loading zone, I was the only one there. At that moment, he had all the power and was very willing and very happy to write a ticket.

Stopped to make my truck payment and when I seen how I had parked,,, all alone, I thought of this thread. When I came out I wasn’t alone anymore. D05C3D74-96D1-4F5F-ADBA-80AF49589DDA.jpg

I suppose I am. I was thinking more along the lines of a post about parking away from everyone else only to find that other people had parked by them.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Saw some beautiful walmart parking today.

    20180316_115650.jpg
So the red and white cars are parked the wrong way. The red car pulled in after I had parked and was getting out. They are blocking 3 spots and one of which is a handicap spot. To put into perspective this is a town of 12k max and the parking has been the same since I was like 5 and one person was most definitely a local because of their plate numbers. The lines are faded but still visible and the handicap sign shows you which way to park.

Just had this a-hole park into my bumper. Didn’t do any damage but took pictures just in case.
