Well yeah, a wheelchair van should be fairly obvious and exempt from our wrath but you know someone who actually carries parking slips with them absolutely cannot wait to use them.

No placcard, not handicapped. Went into a business next door. So I parked right behind them.

Nothing like a 90 minute Parkinson's Boxing Class. Karen was pissed.

My wife has commented with my lack of facial expression, I just look like a contract killer on assignment (it really freaks people out when you have no expression).

No, but parking in the lane where people drive for 90 minutes just to piss of an asshole parker is being an ass to other drivers. Or do you not see that?

i mean it doesn't look like a very high traffic area so at least there's that. Still a pretty asshole move though IMO. at the core of it, you parked somewhere that isn't at all designated for parking. And if she was only using it for a minute, you now made a handicap spot inaccessible for over an hour. At the very least, you made it inaccessible longer than she was going to since you came out to her upset, as well as bottlenecked any simultaneous bi-directional traffic.

keep on keeping on though. already said i'm not someone who parks in handicap spots, but keep asking? I also don't park in places not designated for parking either...even seems where you chose to park behind her is right at the intersection as well...

 

For years I never parked in handicap spots.

One time, I was in a rush to go shopping, trying to remember the milk, cheese, eggs, and something else. Parked, jumped out to head into the store. Flat on my face! A couple walking into the store stopped to assist and they started to call 911. I explained it happens all the time, so no need to summon an ambulance. He was "you should have a placard, talk to your Doctor" I sheepishly admitted I did have one but saved those spots for people who need it! Turned out to be an EMT and his wife was an RN. I got the riot act from both of them that the hatched area is to save them from hurting themselves (if you fall between vehicles they can not assess you, and often EMT hurt their backs trying to get someone out from between cars).

Life with Parkinson's and Stage IV Lung Cancer (NSCLC-Adenocarcinoma) sucks at times, but no reason to stop living.

Makes sense why you'd have a personal vendetta then, next time why not just have the property manager/business call a tow truck instead rather than parking like an asshole to get back at an asshole parker lol. Also didn't realize you actually had a handicapped plate so it's more understandable. Next time lead with that

glad you're making the most of your situation though, that's all any of us can do really.
