I would do that, just not so much. Plus the Lexus on left was already over their line. They had no choice but play defense.

Soooo... This dill weed parked like he owns the street and a few cops stopped by to tell him how they felt about it.

    Back story storytime.

Our street is so cramped it's basically a one-way. Navigation is tricky and sketchy. Parking is also a constant headache to those who don't have a driveway (nieghborhood was built in the '40s and garages are mostly in the alleyways). To make it worse, Thursday is trash day and you can only imagine space gets eaten up fast leaving no where to park. So with all that, every Wednesday night the neighbor holds a sober meeting for 3-4 hours causing an absolute shit show when it comes to parking on our street. Its truly a sight to see.

Anyways, this particular dusche canoe decided to crookedly park his sweet Mazda thing legitimately up on a red curb while knocking over my neighbors full trash can. And like the champion he apparently is, the guy managed to back up into my other neighbors mustang in the process leaving a bit of cosmetic damage. After all his award winning achievements, the guy strolled over to the meeting leaving the hot mess behind.

This guy is truly on another level.

Not quite sure if someone called the cops or they happen to cruise by. The cops chewed his ass out, gave him a ticket and told him to beat it. Very entertaining and fun to watch considering I have to deal with this crap every Wednesday. o_O

Scatter a handfull of 1 1/2" roofing nails along the curb. The resulting show would be worthy.

I bet after a couple of weeks the problem will resolve.

is there any stipulations or regulations in your area that would prevent the "gathering" seeing as it's being used as a legitimate organization?

Yeah, we don't encourage vandalism and deliberate property damage around here.

    Another path....

If the street is posted for parking on one side only, then call the LEO in the middle of the "meeting" to report illegal parking that is blocking the road. Should be good for a few parking violation citations.

The house is recognized as a business and they have their license to do so. The city of La Mesa allows homes to be used as a small business while complying with certain regulations. So when it comes to large gatherings, they are fully within their right to have gatherings.

I have nothing against the guys who run it and I've lived in a sober house at a point in my life, so I get it. I also know that it can attract a special kind of douche lol.

    Lol nah..

No worries, that won't be happening. With my luck I'll end up popping my 285s :D

It seems like someone might have went that route last night. Worked like a charm.

Most likely not a physician. Later in the day these spots are a free for all...this one more free than others apparently.

Just throwing this out there…but he hasn’t actually impeded anyone else getting into their cars, or taken up two spots.

Yes, he’s outside the lines, but the columns afford him that.

I think this one is just shy of true assholishness and just that of trying to protect from getting dinged. I personally prefer backing into those kind of spots because it makes it easier (and safer) to exit them.
