Wouldn't have that problem if you drove a Smart car.... Did you inform the manager that their parking space indicators pose a safety risk?

The car next to me was a Chevy Equinox and it was hanging out too. Can’t help an overly shitty lot design, other than not going back.

    Check.

I guess it's like getting better gas mileage. If you want to fit in a parking space, shoulda got a Prius.

Or finish pulling in the last ~18"? Due to perspective the gaps appear the same when measured on screen, but the bumper gap is farther from the camera and therefore is actually larger than the wheel measurement. But close enough for union work. I know where this post will take the conversation, but DGAF.

Can you tell exactly where your front bumper is? Because I can't.

Do you carry your own personal spotter everywhere you go? I don't.

I judge it as best I can and that's it.

No sir, I definitely can't park on a dime, nor does my trail spotter accompany me everywhere I go. But if I take a pic to highlight, and call out, how narrow an aisle is in a thread like this...well you can bet that I'd also jump back in and pull forward a foot or so to close that gap.

This thread roasts people left and right for what can be described as the same challenges you rely upon as a saving grace: unsure of the exact placement of their vehicles. If the person on your driver side were the same 18" over and happened to encroach into your parking stall, I'm almost certain the same laissez faire explanation would be rejected vehemently. :hattip:

I don't know EXACTLY - but when I got my 2nd gen Taco [much larger than my prior autos] - I PRACTICED till I sorted it out..
I get right up on that pillar now with inches to spare, no problem
B/c I am not leaving my ass out in the traffic lane for some numb nuts to hit my truck..

I also practiced with the rear bumper - put a traffic cone where I park at home till I got it right.
And IF I park like shit, I move it cause not trying to be like the objects of this thread ;)

Always a good idea to draw more attention to yourself when you park where you shouldn't.
