    Assistance please!!!!

Got 5100s w the OME 883s pre assembled from HS. Just wanted an improved ride because I dont OR.

They’re set at the lowest setting - looking for no more than an inch lift.

Having a hellava time getting the lower shock bolt to line up. Shock is difficult to compress.

    Any ideas!

Pry bar or large flat head screwdriver under the eye while pushing/ stepping on the lca.
Or use the bottle Jack to compress the lca

Yeah that helps, but it can be done solo. Been there twice.

This, or loosen up your LCA bolts. I don't have the torque value of those bolts readily available and if you don't mark your alignment tabs, you'll need a new alignment.

Used a larger Phillips to align the holes.

    Thanks folks

I used a 6 ft piece of steel conduit, shoved that between the LCA and and either the front diff or t-case (can't remember what exactly I used) but then I sat my ass down on the other end of it to push the LCA down so I still had both hands free to work the shock and bolt.
