So - i did a small lift and installed 33's and the left side has been rubbing but not the right. I originally thought it might just be a slight difference in alignment, but it finally dawned on me to actually look at how different the right and left are from each other, and the left side is 1.5" further back in the wheel well than the right! Anyone else notice this on their trucks, or am i likely the proud owner of a crashed truck? Argh!

Did you get an alignment post lift?

It is completely possible to be out of alignment and have your wheels located in different parts of the wheel well.

from what points are you measuring? like from the hub to the bottom of the wheel well or from edge of the tread on the tire to the bottom of the wheel well? 1.5" is alot of difference in ANY case on ANY measurement in my opinion.

When I tried out some spidertrax on my 06.. I noticed my right one would rub ALOT and the left one would rub less..

I'm thinking it was just poor quality control in the mounting of the inner fender liners in those years......

I would take measurements from the center of the hub, to the nearest frame cross connect.. those should be exactly perpendicular to the main frame rails..

    Don't trust the cab mounts.....

ah - frame seems to measure out to an 1/8" or so... but the adjusters are totally different, so I'm going to chock it up to that... hoping next time i get it aligned we can fudge the caster so it doesn't rub.
