Yeah, that’s what I thought. If it would’ve been an issue, I would’ve ran across it already.

OK, he did say that he does not have a third GEN. I don’t know what generation he has so was this the issue on previous generations?

No, but it has been an issue on the 4th gen. There are CVs of differing lengths on different trims.

OK, so maybe he’ll jump in here and state his case lol. I’ll suggest it on Taco nation.

I really think something more has to have went on for his CV axle to dislocate just backing out of his driveway six times. with only 2 inches of lift

Am I the only one that doesn't know this well known guy?

Anyways, as others stated. Not an issue. There's something else going on. Only cases I've seen were 4th gens as well.

Hey guys. I drive a second gen. And was quite thorough in my diagnosis. Of this issue. After switching from Bilstein 5100's with a 3/4" spacer to 6112's my suspension should have enough droop to dislocate the tripod bearing on the inner CV. I have checked that the diff is centered properly. But the only option I've found to work are the high articulation CV's offered by napa

Napa cv's are worse. They don't allow the same amount of articulation as oem cv's before binding. Photos of your front suspension setup please.

I'm speaking specifically of the $300 dollar high articulation CV's not the generic ones. They are made by teke I believe

I'm definitely a fan of the oem's I have rebuilt the originals a couple times. They just weren't long enough anymore
