I think they charged 300 for the fan and install. I'm having them install it at the rear, and the hatch somewhere in the center. I had a GFC camper and added a fan to it and it helped tremendously with condensation and it moved plenty of air.

Thank you, good news. Might stick with just a fan up top on the summit to help save.

Welcome! Is that Habitat wrapped white, or is it just the way the light is hitting the aluminum? Looks nice.

And as for organization, I always feel organized until I start loading the bigger stuff in the back... Chainsaw, Bucket, Fire Pit, Awning Room, sleeping bags, propane tank, etc etc... I'm definitely glad to have the 2 jerry cans of water on the swingout now instead of in the bed, and soon to be the propane, too.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
You guys got my really itching. Just got to figure out which one to roll with.
I am thinking of going with the Atlas, as I really like having the head room at both ends.

WAY more room in the Habitat, but obviously you don't get the solid roof of the Summit or Atlas.

I love the habitat. theres so much interior space and you have covered outside space when deployed.

I'm still considering the enclosure they have coming out soon. I dont really like the price tag but its a pretty sweet setup.

    ARB + AWNING ROOM

    It's the best man!!!

The space is awesome. You get the full 3 sided screen room, or leave certain walls down for shade or wind. And having the full floor is wonderful. No bugs coming up under stuff, less dirt, rocks, mud...

Thanks man, it's color match painted. I'm looking at some swingout options for water and propane in particular. Don't really need a full bumper cause I'm not a yuge wheeler, so I was taking a look at the Rigd Ultraswing. That thing pretty much costs the same as a full bumper, but does have the benefit of being removable...

Looks like a good option to me! Keeping the spare under the truck makes the swingout able to store a lot more, too.

Dang... that thing IS $$$. But being able to leave the truck untouched is worth it, i'm sure.

Make sure to keep us updated on here with whatever you end up going with, inside and out!

Just joining the excitement train, should be pulling the trigger on the Summit first week in June. I liked how solid it felt and ok without the head room on both sides. I end up in some windy places and definitely interested in a solid roof and wedge shape to help the wind move on.

Curious if anyone has photos of the following:
-Lighting Options. Anyone do any the ones they are offering?
-Fan. Anyone get a fan installed in the roof?
-Side Slider. I noticed there are two options, anyone have the cheaper option one?

    Cheers!

I'm sure you could attach some legs that fold down from the roof rack!

I've seen quite a few rigs with a "tent" mounted either on a shell or on a rack. I have two questions.

First, how does the weight so far above the center of gravity effect the tendency to roll?

And second, when erected how do they handle wind? I don't mind a gentle rocking, but again that high above center of gravity I don't want to feel like a clock pendulum.
