It wouldn’t be the first time I drove out there over the holiday. Did this in 2018.

We might have, I’d have to go back and double check. I pretty much just punched in destinations and went wherever the GPS took us. There was zero plan for that trip aside from going across going to the sun road in glacier, then some how we ended up on the coast lol

That is awesome, man. One of these days that will be us. Just picking a direction and going for it. But with only 3 weeks of vacation a year, we really gotta plan. That and my wife doesn't like the idea of driving 8 plus hours a day to get somewhere. Me, I'd be like we can get to southern Utah in 16 hours, lets go.

Most of my trips have been week long trips. I’ll do a few long days so I can spend the week wherever I’m going. I’m hoping to start doing 2 week trips now that I’ve actually got more vacation time. Or just go somewhere and work remotely from the habitat.

    For sure

Hoping to get some camping in one of these days. I haven’t had a night in the habitat yet this year.

Yeah it's a great thing. Even so, I'm glad I got one of these than a GFC. Those things fall apart at the hinges!

I always wanted a habitat after seeing the one XO has.

I had a preorder for a gfc (#12) but backed out as there was a few things I wasn’t a fan of and didn’t think would hold up (spoiler alert: I was right)

ended up going with a trailer next. Trailer turned into a disaster. Company bought it back.

after that, I finally got my habitat. It’s been awesome. Too bad it wasn’t smart enough to do that from the start!

I'm really glad we ended up with the Habitat. We were SOOOOO close to getting the Earthcruiser GZL. We woulda been tied to it forever with the cost of it, and not been able to use it like we have the Habitat.

Congrats! Im sure there are lots of good times ahead for you.

The finish on the raw aluminum versions is called shark hide. They make a cleaner and a sealant.

Upgraded my PVC framed diy shower stall I made.Took too long to put together each time and take back down.

Ordered originally from "overland vehicle systems".... they are back ordered, even though their website says in stock and it will ship next day. 3 days later and no tracking updates so I call, they tell me they are backordered and several weeks out. I hate companies that do this, says they have them in stock, process order, take your money, and dont tell you they dont even have your product until you ask... I voiced my opinions about that to them and they still haven't changed it on their website. Clearly they dont mind misleading people in order to not lose sales.

I see a ton of value in having a product on your shelves ready to ship so when companies take advantage of that it really irks me.

Called tuff stuff who make a similar product same price, they have them in stock, ordered and received within 2 days.

The woman I talked to at "overland vehicle systems" also had no idea about any of their products and had to look it up by part #, the guy at tuff stuff personally new about what I was talking about when I asked about the shower stall, I guess take that for what it's worth.

    Aaaannnnyywwwaaayys

    here are some pics.

These are obviously in driveway, big 2 week trip coming up so will post more soon.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Yeah that BRO stuff isn’t all is cracked up to be anyways. While yes a shower stall may be hard to mess up, the lack of support is a sign they don’t know what they are doing.

Showing in stock, then holding your money with promise of “soon” is a good sign of a company circling the drain.

They are using your money to fund previous orders that have been back ordered, while waiting for more orders to fund yours. It becomes a borderline scam when they conceal/attempt to conceal what is going on. Once I get a whif if it, I’ll demand refund, of process charge backs.

I have a Hab and CBI bumper, so clearly I don’t mind months long lead times while someone sits on my money. The difference is, those comps are transparent in their practices.
