Mine is wired markers, brake light, ground.

The light bar is actually in a “low” setting with markers and will brighten up on the brakes just like your tail lights.

Just an update. I’ve got everything wired and works perfect. Dim with lights on and when brake is pushed brightens up. Mine was a little different for some reason. White was ground, red was brake and black was running light

If anyone is looking for a way to mount the support poles for the habitat, the command strip holder for broom sticks works perfect.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

I have this in my camper. Works very nicely, doesn’t hurt it matches my cement taco either ;)

Stupid question and after searching for a few hours, somebody help.

wanna put in goose gear habitat with fridge slide in 2019 tacoma. Anyone know if there are any design conflicts with certain bed stiffeners? Would Rago work? total chaos?

    thanks in advance.

On the fridge side there are no issues with total chaos (I’d have to check rago). The fridge must be about 6” away from the bed edge to clear the rear wheel-well anyway (due to the fridge depth). Goose gear sell a stiffener specific mounting plate that takes this into account or you can just pick your own spot. I will try and grab a pick of mine. I stupidly cut mine on that side for no reason. The storage shelves on the other side are a different story.

Use a mounting plate for the fridge slide to help raise it over the height of the stiffeners.

anyone replace the memory foam mattress in the AT Habitat with an Exped Air Mattress? if so, what size fits and did you have nay issue with closing the habitat with the pad inside? Will the Duo fit or is it too wide?

Can you describe this more? Does the air vent out through the tiny slots used to hold the lids of the cubbies?

On mine I removed the cubby and used an aluminum sheet to cover the hole where the cubby was, then cut holes through that to route the intake and exhaust.

Four nights on northern nevada/idaho border over Thanksgiving. Got down to around 5 degrees. Was totally comfortable with the heater running all night.

I kind of wish they didn't build that front section of the tent the way they did where it is not sealed. (Where you can use those ropes to pull it up) I'm guess that's where most the cold air comes in at. I may try and see if I can find a way to seal it with velcro or otherwise.

It looks like the Exped Duo will fit but the Duo XL will not fit.

i was looking at the 52” wide duo to fill out the space and was hoping that it could fold up on the sides to fit

I think someone else mentioned the XL (52” wide. The sleeping platform is 48” wide.) presses up against the sides of the tent which could be bad if it’s raining and if you want to leave the Exped in place when folding the bed platform over.

Looking to sell the Habitat and replace with a Scout Yoho hardside camper. Wife and I think we'd be able to get out more with a hardside camper. That and we don't really offroad, so the Habitat's smaller footprint on the truck isn't really a necessity anymore. Learned a lot with the Habitat, and will be sad to see it go. Truck definitely won't look as cool anymore, lol.

I was poking around underneath the rear of the truck, giving it a once over before winter and noticed my leafs are starting to flatten out. I have OME Mediums (EL095) paired with Ride Rite airbags. Its time for an upgrade and ditch the airbags while Im at it. Ive looked into Deaver, Alcan, Wheelers, and General.
Deaver wont answer their phone and rumor has it they're 10-12 weeks out. Wheelers... meh, Im on the fence not sure why. And I just learned of General Springs of KS. I gave them a buzz today and their leaf pack seems to handle the weight I have, very affordable, and in stock. Win win.

Whats everyone running for rear suspension? And what would you change about it?
