Saw a white 3rd Gen with a Habitat off of 560 south of Wellington Lake here in CO last weekend. Anybody on here?

Or anybody in Denver have a Habitat? Would love to look at one in person.

Get with Juniper Overland. They should be able to help with that.

That was me, I pulled a solo trip with just me and the pup. I never camped in that area before and found the area really nice and look forward to more trips in that area.

This was me earlier in the day, I was up high in the mountain and I couldn’t handle the wind. I packed up and headed down into the woods where there air was still all night, thank goodness. These habitats sure can handle the wind that’s for sure, they impresse me.

From the looks of your first picture you were camped at the campsite north of us towards Wellington. You passed our campsite about 10am heading south towards the burn scar on Saturday. There was a brown Silverado and blue Wrangler parked there. My white 3rd gen was kind of hiding in the woods back off the road.

I was literally just talking about Habitats about 30 mins before you drove by. Was packing up camp and the wife was like "Oh! Thats a nice Tacoma!" and I said yea thats the Habitat I was just talking about!

I actually tried to flag you down but was too late. You were already moving on by.

Do you live in the Denver area? Would love to see it sometime or I guess I just need to make a trip to Juniper. My Dad and I are both looking at them, but think pops is leaning more towards the GFC Camper.

Oh yeah, the second night I spent in mine was near the racetrack playa in death valley. The wind was fierce all night through the morning. Didn't get a wink of sleep but it held up except for one of the eyebrow strap clips breaking off, but I found a better fix for that.

So I’m at my insurance agents the other day getting extra coverage on all the additional accessories and the habitat, and I’m trying explain what this all looks like to my insurance agent, and he tells me to go look out back in the parking lot and look at this rig, This rig is almost identical to mine, and its in my neighborhood over here in the Sunnyside in Denver. Anybody know who’s rig this is? It’s a really nice set up .)

I does! I can tell he paid extra to have Adventure trailers paint it for him. I had bought so many extra options on my habitat, that I couldn’t justify the paint job on top of it all. I’ve considered wrapping the habitat, and gotten prices at around $1500.00ish.

I have to pull my tent this spring. I may wrap/paint while it's apart.

Paint is the one option I wish I would have bit the bullett on.

Brian at Goose Gear talked to Mario who told me the below:

"I spoke with Mario and he has the following information for you about the rod ends. On a side note, I live a couple blocks from the beach and have similar rust on my strut support balls as well as the pressure tubes. The rust is surface material and will not affect the performance, but of course, it is not exactly pretty. Mario recommends the following:

The support rod socket balls are zinc coated and are unfortunately not available in stainless steel. The rod ends are nickel plated chrome. If exposed to road salts or close to an ocean environment then this would most likely be the cause of the rust. Ideally the balls are to be coated with a light film of grease with anti-corrosion additives. You could also use STA-BIL Heavy Duty Rust and Corrosion Inhibitor available from Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NEG6I8...xx&pd_rd_r=SMPHD16VJR9KCHMQZWAW&pd_rd_w=KyGcr"

Probably just going to see what I can get off with some steel wool and throw some of the STA-BIL on them and I guess try to forget about it (yeah right...)
