Sorry, I don't have a habitat. Someone with one would have to pull theirs. If that person had a McMaster Carr, McFaddendale or even Grainger near by you could probably walk right in and get it matched up. Or even a decent machine shop should have access to the parts.

On a week long trip up Oregon coast. Will have some better pictures when I get back home. Not usually one for organized camping areas but it's not so bad during the week when most people are at work. This is our spot this morning at Harris beach state park

Do you carry the Ruckus on the front of your truck?

Yep, on high clearance receiver. I put it on the rear sometimes but it just gets in the way too much back there.

That is awesome. I had been contemplating getting a small street legal dualsport that I could hang off the back. Never even thought about a scooter. A good 50-100lbs lighter than most dualsports, too.

I'm betting you usually only drive during daylight hours? Did you get heavier coils for the front?

Yessir. If I have to drive at night I just flip it around to the back but haven't had to this whole trip. Prefer driving during the way anyways.

The scoot is awesome. I've carried all manner of bike's around while camping. From a full size built dr650 to ct90s to the ruck to little mini trail 50s... of all for a escape pod I greatly prefer the ruck. Just super easy, light, low profile, and street legal. If im planning on steep rocky stuff the ct90, street legal as well. I should add that the ruckus is the only one I would run on the high clearance front receiver a's it doesn't impede the view much. Anything taller would.

I have a total chaos +2 in front with kings, the sag is negligible for me nto worth going heavier coils... I could crank down the adjusters a few turns but again it rides just fine as is.

WTF i said when i opened the tailgate and liftdoor. incredible amount of water collected in the bed. had not driven truck since thursday before it rained. it rained hard here on friday. i could understand if i'd been driving in the rain and getting all the tire splatter thrown into the bed, but just sitting on the street, i am impressed with the rain.

Impressed by the rain or depressed by how poorly a $8000 topper seals?

Any idea where it is coming from?.... I have had mine in torrential downpours without a drop of rain inside.

In any case contact AT... They will take care of you without a doubt. One of the benefits of buying such an expensive new piece of equipment is the customer service that comes along with it.

Picture dump from my girlfriend and I's trip up to Oregon. Hit some hot springs, lots of breweries, did some fishing, etc....

8 consecutive nights in the Habitat and we didn't want to come home. We didn't stay in the same spot for more than a night, which always equates to a lot of packing / unpacking. We got extremely efficient and just wanted to keep exploring new camp sites.

If I could have found one in decent condition for ~2k$ I probably would have. Problem is any even near that price are in terrible shape. Saw a couple around 4500$ for DCSBs and they both sold pretty quickly, and neither were in perfect condition... There is one for sale in the BST for 7k$ right now.

The aluminum construction, no torsion bar, the (weatherproof) Nemo tent, and the aesthetics were WELL worth it for me to take the next step to the habitat. No way would I shell out ~4k$ for a used fiberglass alternative with many known issues. That being said if you can get a decent deal on one they are awesome in there own right.

Do your kids sleep in the bed? Any pics of their sleeping arrangement? Considering this for my family.

you can do what Goose-Gear did and put a platform in the open section. You can also put down a sleeping platform across the bottom if you have cabinets like Tacodoc.

Here is a picture of the finished on board water tank / heated shower system. The hot showers are a huge luxury and really make the comfortability go way up while on extended trips. Also didn't end up needing additional support for the tent pole with the light shower curtain we used.

I'll have to check to see if my wife has any pics on her phone, if not I am sure there are some on the laptop.

The sleeping platforms above are built by goose gear, and are the ones sold by AT as an option. The thick bifold one pictured above is what caused my holy tent. AT worked with goose to get thinner units made that were not proud of the forward deck. We have one of the new platforms still in the box..it's been a long winter.

Right now one kiddo is 3.5, the other is 1.5. Sleeping was my wife cuddled/feeding the little one, with the big one sleeping across the very end of the bed. I was on the sleeping platform. It's a bit precarious with that hole next to you. I will be building a roll-up cedar panel that will sit in the gap. This panel will also serve to keep the tent cleaner and from falling into the bed area when stowed.

This year we will likely put the boys in the loft and I get my bed back!!

The tent will easily sleep 4 adults, but a bit of cuddling may occur. The tent beds are 4' wide, so keep that in mind.

Once the boys are big enough to decide. They can choose to sleep at their end of the tent, ground tent, or hammock.

The family aspect was better with the habitat than any other we've tried. The storage and speed of deployment make it worth its weight in gold. Hard enough getting me out of bed and rolling in the morning. Chasing little ones is exponentially more difficult.

Hope this helped. Let me know if you have more questions.
