Depends on what you want to do with your truck. If you're going 'wheeling you might consider some sliders (I'll let someone else recommend brand).

I have the factory tube steps - they came with the truck new - and find them more of a hindrance than a help as I have to step over them getting in and out. If you're not going off road or don't get very aggressive when you do, then the lowered steps might work out for you, but be aware they may drag.

I think the best thing steps and floorboards do is help keep the average car driver from leaving door dings.

I'm trying to decide on which steps to pull the trigger on my self. Not doing any heavy off-roading and my main concern is finding one that will hold up to the winters and salt up here in North East.

Wow this thread got off track...

With regards to the original topic, I'm surprised no one mentioned a raspberry pi 2 and a NAS. Ours does a fantastic job. We are fighting with some of the setup right now, but will soon have retropie installed for game emulators as well.
