Hey all, if anyone is interested in ordering or needing service from AT&T (U-Verse, DSL, phones, cell phones, etc) send me a PM with your contact info (phone) and I'll have my wife call you back. She's an AT&T rep and she gets credit if she signs someone up for service.

She can sign up for U-Verse anywhere but for everything else, she can only do California calls (which is why it's posted here). She'll give you the best deal she can. She has some leeway but there's some things she can't waive. But if there's a way to do it, she'll let you know.

Could you explain a little more what you're trying to do (e.g. what phone)? Are you trying to get a free phone without a contract extension?

She said for existing customers who are trying to upgrade their cell phones, you can get more options online than she can offer because she doesn't work for the cell phone division, though she can add cell phones in a package deal (e.g. U-Verse combos).

It's a mini cell tower that you plug into your internet router to boost your cell signal inside your house. It retails for about $150

can you have her pass on the disappointment about AT&T's decision to not have unlimited data plans instead of fixing their over taxed run down 3g network?
bad move on their part, way to punish customers.
I have the unlimited now, but when It's time to upgrade I will get burned and no longer have the unlimited data. And then it's probly bye bye AT&T and our 5 iphones (unless other companies offer service by then)

I know she cant do anything about it, but its late im buzzed :D

Yeah AT&T made a bad decision and I bet they lose a lot of customers because of it. Withe the amount of money they charge their customers (what do they claim to have, something like 60 million?) you think they could afford to upgrade their crappy networks rather than screw their customers.

I just hope Verizon doesn't follow in their foot steps

probably, but I bet there is a "new" data plan you need to get when going 4g.. like it was when I went from 2g to 3g

Nope, when your contract is up and you need to sign into a new contract then you lose your unlimited data

If ATT is too cheap to upgrade their 3g network why would they even bother going 4g:D

If you already have it, you won't lose it even if you upgrade your phone.
