Hey Dan, yes at some point I will be offering HC bumpers, I just don’t have an ETA.

The mounts are also 3/16” and they are gusseted up into the bolt area for lateral reinforcement on side loads. (See pic)

Pic attached of the the trailer plug mounting. It bolts to the receiver reinforcement tube under the bumper. Just noticed I have the factory mounting plate upside down in the left pic :anonymous:

Unsure where you saw that, but Mobtowns carrier will fit a 35" tire. Don't mean to take anything away from OP and his great looking bumpers, but just wanted to clarify.

Edit: I see now that his website states that. I'll get him to update that.

Gonna have to book another 8 hundo into the "planned" section of the truck ledger. :spending: (yes, I AM an accountant)

Glad to find a vendor that offers a non-hidden hitch option so it doesn't interfere with my bike rack / tailgate clearance.

Yea I saw it on the website and wasn’t sure if it was just a typo or what.
If Morgan ever decided the swingout isn’t going to happen Mobtown is my 2nd favorite.

Hmm, a bumper to go with my bed stiffeners... :)

I'll keep an eye on this, but like many on here, need a swingout! O yeah, and really like the under bumper hitch. I tow a lot so always leave my hitch in.

great looking bumper, has the hitch (under license plate) been tested for strength? assuming it will match the factory +?

Always amazes me that the factory hitch is a class IV, as in 10k trailer/1k tongue. Obviously WAY more than the truck itself is rated for.

The ‘under the plate’ receiver is actually my preference too.. easier to get the pin in and still good ground clearance.

Yes, it has been tested with real world towing up to the truck’s towing limits and tongue weight, just not the type of testing a hitch manufacturer would go through to get an official classification. They are built stout, gusseted and reinforced with 2x2x.120 tubing and fully tied into the bumper shell and mounts.

Nice bumper! What's the approximate weight on each version? And are the high-lift jack spots reinforced on the inside of the cutout?

Those look great. Following for the eventual swingout before it goes on the buy list. :spending:

    Thanks!
About 85 lbs either version. The Hi-Lift slots are just cutouts in the plate And don’t have anything reinforcing them. With the 3/16” steel thickness, you won’t bend anything when lifting from them. The frame does flex a bit though.

I can vouch on the 3/16" steel strength. I jack up the front end of my truck off the front skid which is 3/16" steel and it never bends

I’m definitely in for a rear tire carrier/swingout
