Ok here’s a few more shots and some info. D05AD151-6656-4AEB-90FD-687E828FEA96.jpg37F9AFE1-C0C0-4E64-9AD1-C7FBFA8445FC.jpg

So for the tie ins I used a cut off wheel and trimmed off the 90 degree part of the Kings rezi bracket. Then drillled and ground it out for the frame tie in bolt, was pretty simple. Drilled the hole with the rezi bracket mounted and the frame tie in on with the two front bolts attached. This allows flush mounting and the option of running the sway bar if you like. Red circle is where I cut off the L part of the rezi mount. E02C755A-F1C6-42CF-9FCC-88DC6833905D.jpgBut as you can see, can easily run the sway bar if you choose to.

Finally I switched to 700lb coils right out of the gate. In my rear I have the Icon AAL which claims 1.5” w/o the overload in. I left mine in so I think it lifted the rear about 2.5” instead. Didn’t use a tape before or after, however after installing the King’s with the pre set preload I still had a decent amount of rake. So cranked those puppies up. Here you can see how much preload I am running with 700 lb springs and I am now sitting pretty close to level if you look at the above pics. F8FA0085-0F06-4CC5-B42C-8660193BD798.jpgMy CV’s still look good, maybe some slight rubbing. Think that covers it all. I’ll post some YouTube vids regarding the lights in a bit.
Yea I know. Front bumper and no sliders, lame. Ryan (@Shmellmopwho) has me covered in the next couple weeks. This is my first time having a steel bumper so such a rook but I’ve done my reading so I feel like I’ve covered all my bases. Also, not sure which winch I wanted to go with so held off on that for now till I fully make up my mind.

If anyone has questions feel free.
And here’s a shot of a quarter Japanese girl endulging in soft serve green tea, the little things F4AF4CB8-34A8-4720-BFB9-3847C0302BD9.jpg

I was able to run my sway bar without modification to the king resi mount or the frame tie in bracket. Not sure if I’m the only one? Looks good though!

Yea, I just wanted the tie in to sit flush with the bracket thats all, it only took like 5 minutes of cutting and a couple dabs of spray paint.

That’s a good way to do it with the King resi brackets esp if you’re running a sway bar.
For mine I just removed the forward bolt holding the resi bracket and slightly rotated them to clear the bolt head for the reinforcement brackets.

And thanks for posting those pics!

@At The Helm the bumper looked great bare metal before mounting (work of art) now that it's powder coated, lights added and mounted it's a master piece, keep the sparks fling doing what you do.20180521_191751.jpg 20180521_191850.jpg

What is the additional skid plate about? Is it the sacrificial plate?

I bought the BPF TRD group buy plate before I got the bumper and put it back on because the stock skid looks stupid with the bumper

I think you were referring to the other guy. I'm already running the BAMF skid trilogy.

Nice truck though if I were in the market especially with that bumper :thumbsup::thumbsup:
