Thanks for the sweet bumpers, Morgan!
The Reddaway forklift driver was a pro. Got the front bumper in the bed and rear bumper with swingout on the RSI cap top.

No comes the fun part! :bananadance:

Are you going to paint them, powdercoat them, or what?

Hope you got help getting the rear bumper off the cap :muscleflexing:

Powder coat. Gotta make some calls to the local guys after the holidays.

Also need to decide on a winch and lights.

Torn between getting a Harbor Freight Badlands 12k (seems to work for Matt’s Offroad) or a Warn VR Evo10s.

I was thinking I’d use Diode Dynamics amber fogs and a white light bar. But I kinda like the look of a couple 7-9” round driving light under the center loop. Like Baja LP9, ARB or the Pathfinder 9” lights. They’re all $$$ so it’ll be a while for me to figure it all out.

gotta decide what I’m loading on the back with the spare tire: I have a 3gal gas rotopax, a propane tank, or some bigger gas cans, or some recovery gear… stoked about the options this gives us.

(we got the rear bumper off the roof using a 17’ ladder as a ramp. Didn’t have to lift anything!)

No availability around me for powder, so I painted mine. Most time was spent on prep. I'm sure yours will look good.

I have the VR Evo10s and really like it. The cordless remote is very nice. I located my control box up in the engine compartment. Bought wire and connectors and made the lengths I needed. Now it is tucked out of the way of mud and water. Never had a Badlands so can't speak about it.

That's part of the fun, figuring everything out. I have the Rigids in the back since that is what Morgan built for and they work great. I put Bajas in the front with a Rough Country light bar. The round lights under the loop give it a cool safari vibe to me.

Never ending options there. I left my spare underneath, so can't help you there.

Genius! I now feel the need for a 17' ladder:thumbsup:

Ladder works great for that. I use a 17’ folding aluminum ladder as a ramp to get the RTT on and off. My garage isn’t tall enough to set up a hoist.

Your trucks look great and the bumper just takes them further.

When are y'all doing the rears?????

I've had my bumpers for two years now and still love them. I think these bumpers look so much better than stock and Morgan builds them very well.

RMA those fog lights with Baja when they turn purple. I had my covers replaced for free and got to keep the old ones for me to do whatever with them - it's a known problem

How was mounting your winch? Easy access to all the bolting points?

my rear should be ready March/April. Mounting the winch was easy, installed as I did the bumper.

Yeah, easy to install the winch. Just do it while the bumper is laying on the ground. Then put the bumper on the truck. And have help....it will be heavy, but so worth it.

That's good to hear, the two front bolts on my current set up were waaay too tight as far as finger wiggle room went to put on

    Alright, HC!

I was a bit nervous cutting the bed for my HC, but once it was done I thought no problem. Just measure many times and cut once. I used the door edge trim to cover the cut, but make sure you put some paint on the cut metal so it won't rust.

I agree with you. Morgan is very good and patient with questions. He is very helpful.

Already did the rear, ha. Did that a couple weeks ago. High clearance for the win! Morgan is awesome too. Answered everything and very patient. Even when I was flip flopping what I was wanting to do, ha.

Nice job! Love the laptop on the tailgate for easy reference. I had mine in the garage too.
