Did you think about 285s versus the 275s? Gain any height from 275s?

You know what. I didn't really think about a 285.. But I did some research and with the wheel and a 3in lift a 285 won't rub.. So i actually ordered a set of 285s then when those come in I'll be selling the 275s

    That's what I'm debating 285 or 275. Grrrrr

Go with a 285.. I heard with a 3in lift and TRD wheels you won't have a problem with rubbing and what not.. I feel like a 275 looks kind of small.

    Thanks

Yeah I wanted something as a compromise and I didn't think the tires looked that small on your rig. I mean 285s are only 1/2" taller and a little bit wider. I don't want to trim my 40k truck. Also gas mileage will be better.

I'm out of town for work... But before I left I started to "de-badge" the truck. I took off the "TRDsport" side decals off and then when I get back home I'll be taking off the "Tacoma" door badge and then painting it satin black then re-install it

So I was back down in LA again for work. And when I had ordered my TEs and tires for the truck I forgot to get lug nuts. So I swung by evasive motorsports and grabbed 2 packs of black rays lug nuts for the truck... Now my wheels and tires are all tucked away in the corner of the garage waiting for Saturday when I return home to install them on the truck
