ATT Data plan

I have had my truck now for almost a month. ATT keeps saying I need to sign up for a data plan soon. I have not used the hotspot in the truck but what else is this for or will I not be able to do if I don’t sign up. I am confused!

 

Nothing. The truck will operate just the same. They just want your money.

 

Like chapskis1 says, if your not planning to use the wifi hotspot then save yourself some money. Doesn't mean you can't sign up for it in the future.

 

The truck will only be drivable in the not-pink areas from now on.

 

I could be wrong but I believe the only reason you’d need the ATT hotspot is for the navigation to work if you don’t have a smart phone.

And they just want your money

I never got around to checking out that feature before mine timed out. Saw it once when scrolling through the menus. Kind of wonder if I'll ever wish I had it.
