Let me tell you, the ol' trumpet definitely puckered when that train of auction-house regrets made that right hand turn into the pumps.

I already was starting to dial my insurance agent until I saw the last axle clear.

 

Yep, I was hauling mine from Northern Utah to Blythe California. Not flat ground at all and the pucker factor was 10 outta 10 out of the gate. 9.9 of 10 through Vegas. I was fairly sure my insurance would have told me to take a hike.

Clapped out and broken Jeeps, Flat Bed tandem trailer, dolly, and no excessive saggy rear-end on the 2nd gen even though it looks to be about 3,000 lbs over the tow rating for it, -and- the 3rd gen playing "Where's Waldo?"

That pic has everything! I'm impressed.

Recommend go to 1,500 mile oil and filter changes, and 2,500 mile transmission fluid flushes and consider checking the oil level every 50 miles. (you don't have to bother dropping the pan for the filter and magnets.....)
