Cool I love my dakars but I was looking at those for the extra inch of lift.

Well from what I understand the LT kit gets you 4" up front. Anybody with different results?

Alright Larry, I started this thread for to get some input from guys that actually have the all pro kit. You're a cool dude but I don't need your opinion on this issue anymore.

Most people I've talked to have it anywhere from 2.5" to little shy of 4"....depends if they're running fibreglass, clearanced fenders or stock and the tire size!

    I lol'd.

OP I plan on going LT also and wont be using it much for the desert. More for rock crawling and gnarly speedbumps, the ones that are like 10 feet long. But seriously, I wish they made a 2'' kit for first gens. Im going to attempt to fit the camburg 3.5'' kit with no fiberglass and lots and lots and lots of trimming. :D

Monkeyproof has pics on this forum. Just need to know where to look and how to search. A few months ago, when it was on sale, I was seriously considering the AP LT kit for my truck. I think it's the absolute best LT kit for a 4x4 taco.

Anyway, here are some pics of MonkeyProof's truck:

And a few more I found

    Grande,

What do you want to know?

I've had the kit for a while now and have definitely put it through its paces. I'm very happy with it.

Most people don't understand the benefit of a four wheel drive LT truck. My front wheels droop into holes, between rocks, etc. and maintain traction where a vehicle with less travel would lose traction.

At speed it is a night and day difference from midtravel. I do stuff in my truck that I would've have dreamed doing while midtravel. That's a combination of the increased travel, where the truck has that travel (up vs. down travel), and the strength of the components compared to stock.

Travel numbers depend on what coilovers and bumpstops you run. I'm getting closer to 13'' than 12''.

I would be running the fox set up with the timbren bumbs. How much lift do you have? I was still going to run 33's just to save weight/gas.

How is your steering? Do you have the steering upgrade? I read on ttororororaatoa that bumpsteer might be a problem, is that the case?
