This is my first effort after doing my intro to the group. I needed a non permanent stop for my new 18' LB when loading my ATV. I'm always ready to design/build what will work and save some $ doing it. This is what I built with four #6 garage door brackets for the base these fit perfectly in the inside box, just welded them end to end. The main square tube is the post used for state road signs, I bought a 5 ft. piece for $5.00. Cut the angle to fit near box wall with just a hack saw, and filed burrs off. used (1) 3.5"x 3/8" pipe nipple cut in half. (2) 3/8"x 9" bolts, cut the head end off and bent the angle in a vise so it will conform to anchor in floor of the box. I had a total cost of $11.00 until the powder coat but it was worth it @ $65.00. $76.00 and it can used as my front support later. It takes less then a minute or two to remove an store.
